Key Responsibilities:
Fiber Splicing and Installation:

Requirements for Hire:

Welty Energy is looking to add a Project Coordinator, to our team! As a Project Coordinator, you will be an integral member of the Electric Substation project management team responsible for assisting with planning and organizing all activities for the engineering, design, procurement, and construction of major capital projects and programs related to everything inside the substation fence. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop coordination tasks with all applicable stakeholders on your project to ensure that communication across the lines is established and maintained throughout the life cycle of the project(s).

<li>Facilitate the implementation of the company’s and client’s safety and health programs with your project team(s) and promote safe work practices.</li>
<li>Facilitate the implementation of the company’s and client’s environmental programs with your project team(s) focusing on the protection of the environment in accordance with company policy and government regulations.</li>
<li>Commit to the ideals of a client-centric culture to foster trust and confidence among clients and improve value for all our stakeholders.</li>
<li>Assist the project management team in providing technical reviews of specifications, drawings, contracts, addenda, and other construction documents to ensure constructability with our client’s standards and specifications while utilizing the technical expertise of others as needed.</li>
<li>Assist the project management team in scheduling and conducting project planning and status meetings to ensure schedule and financial adherence to projects are being maintained and significant issues are clearly disseminated to relevant participants.</li>
<li>Assist the project management team with planning and scheduling project activities and deliverables. </li>
<li>Provide schedule updates of the engineering, construction, and budget status of each project to PMs for their transmittal to the appropriate management teams (internal &amp; external).</li>
<li>Assist in overseeing and coordinating construction package reviews, pre-award meetings, field visits, and pre-award project site walk-downs.</li>
<li>Assist the project management team with creating weekly status reports.</li>
<li>Manage the be delegation from the Project Manager to be the single point of contact for construction on submittals, review, and coordination of required project information and documents.</li>
<li>Assist the project management team in ensuring that necessary outages are identified and communicated in a timely manner to avoid schedule interruptions and conflicts with other projects in the area.</li>
<li>Assist the project management team in ensuring that required permits are obtained for all fieldwork and required approvals are secured from applicable parties.</li>
<li>Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.</li>
</ul>
Ideally you will possess the following:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or relevant experience in the electric utility industry.</li>
<li>Project coordination experience within the utility sector is preferred which includes electric or gas distribution. </li>
<li>0 - 3 years of project coordination experience.</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Effective organizational skills.</li>

Job Summary: The Experienced Tower Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of wireless communication towers and equipment. This role involves working at heights to install and service antennas, radios, and other wireless infrastructure components. Tower Technicians work irregular hours, travel frequently, and work at great heights in extreme weather conditions. They have a strong understanding of tower safety protocols and be committed to delivering quality work in a fast-paced environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Climb and work on communications towers up to 500 feet daily.</li>
<li>Install, test, and maintain cellular network components, including coax, radio, fiber, antennas, and related equipment.</li>
<li>Perform maintenance or repair work on existing tower equipment using hand or power tools.</li>
<li>Operate and maintain survey and testing equipment, such as sweeps, PIM, fiber, and microwave tools.</li>
<li>Provide technical support by working with vendors’ service centers and technicians to resolve any issues.</li>
<li>Transport equipment to work sites using utility trucks and equipment trailers.</li>
<li>Work in varied inclement weather conditions and maintain a safe job site</li>
<li>Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards, including inspecting climbing gear and tools before use.</li>
<li>Travel throughout the U.S. on a regular basis.</li>
<li>Be available for evening, weekend, and rotational assignments, including on-call responsibilities.</li>
<li>Provide support and assistance to foreman.</li>
<li>Assume additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>1 Year of Tower Climbing Experience</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in civil construction or telecommunications is preferred.</li>
<li>Background and MVR check required.</li>
<li>Ability to pass a drug test and pre-employment physical.</li>
<li>Telecom or construction experience is preferred; on-the-job training is available as needed.</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; CDL is preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to work in various weather conditions.</li>
<li>Willingness to travel as required and work weekends when necessary.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Good communication skills at all levels and the ability to follow directions.</li>
<li>Excellent teamwork abilities.</li>
<li>A willingness to travel extensively and work weekends as required.</li>
