Essential Skills:
<ul>
<li>Strong knowledge of fine jewelry, costume jewelry, and collectible coins.</li>
<li>Experience in retail jewelry sales, appraisal, or gemology.</li>
<li>Proficiency in using jewelry testing equipment (e.g., gold testers, diamond testers, scales).</li>
<li>Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in product evaluation and data entry.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.</li>
<li>Ability to obtain and maintain certification for jewelry testing equipment as required.</li>
</ul>
 
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>GIA or other gemological certification is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., eBay, Shopify, proprietary systems).</li>
<li>Familiarity with inventory management software or point-of-sale systems.</li>
<li>Highschool diploma, GED, or equivalent.</li>
</ul>

 Work Environment:
Plant environment with frequent exposure to lint and dust generated by donated clothes and goods. Standing or sitting for extended periods of time and occasional bending and twisting, with the ability to lift to 25 pounds. The employee is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
