RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Develop &amp; maintain mix designs and ensure compliance with M curve requirements, ASTM/CSA standards, etc. This includes but is not limited to:

<li>Evaluation of raw materials as received by the facility</li>
<li>Communication with suppliers in the event of materials being out of target specifications.</li>

<li>Review all proposed changes to mix designs from local Plant Management and obtain necessary approval prior to implementation.</li>
<li>Provide guidance &amp; training to plant personnel as required re Concrete Technology, QMS…etc.</li>
<li>Run samples as required in support of sales requests</li>
<li>Development of new products and processes.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS – Required Skills/Education
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering) or equivalent work history</li>
<li>ACI (American Concrete Institute) / PCI (Precast / Prestressed Concrete Institute) or MCPX (Manufactured Concrete Products) or equivalent certification</li>
<li>5-7 years of supervisory experience in a quality role in the building materials space, preferably in concrete construction.</li>
<li>Formal Lean Six Sigma training, ideally green belt certification.</li>
<li>Strong analytical abilities (regression analysis, data collection …etc)</li>
<li>Must have excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)</li>
<li>Report writing skills</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
