Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a C# Software Developer for an onsite role near Akron, OH. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in C# and SQL coding and development. This role is a as a temp-to-hire role and working on modernizing and upgrading the internal reporting system.
Pay Range: $45-55 per hour; salary negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Software Developer job responsibilities include:
<ul>
<li>
Migrating legacy reports built with ComponentOne (C1) to a new display layer using WPF and Telerik controls, as part of our transition from .NET Framework 4 to .NET 8.
</li>
<li>
Migrate existing reports written with ComponentOne (C1) to C# code.
</li>
<li>
Replace ComponentOne (C1) reports native C#.
</li>
<li>
Create new control(s) for displaying reports using WPF and Telerik controls.
</li>
<li>
Write clean, maintainable code.
</li>
<li>
Enhance reports based on business feedback.
</li>
</ul>

QUALIFICATIONS:

<ul>
<li>
Experience with C# and the .NET Framework.
</li>
<li>
Solid understanding of SQL.
</li>
<li>
Proficient in Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) is a plus but not required.
</li>
<li>
Familiarity with MVP design pattern.
</li>
<li>
Background in upgrading applications to newer .NET versions is a plus.
</li>
<li>
Prior experience working on data/report-heavy desktop applications is a plus. 
</li>
