This position is accountable for directing the daily activities of a group of employees toward established goals. The General Manager ensures that the store and its employees comply with company policies and procedures, seize every opportunity to improve sales revenue, and control the cost of operations. The General Manager helps employees understand the factors contributing to the store's success and teaches them how they can contribute to that success each day. Senior management establishes the basic merchandise and inventory levels for the store. District Managers monitor these levels. However, the General Manager is responsible for maintaining the proper mix and level of merchandise for the store by placing orders through the proper channels. This position includes a three-quarters teaching appointment and a one-quarter appointment directing the seminary's assessment process and portfolio or the seminary's grant applications and processes. The nine-month contract will begin in August 2026.

Trinity Lutheran Seminary at Capital University is one of the oldest seminaries of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) and one of three ELCA seminaries embedded within a university. Trinity's mission is forming leaders for Christ's church at work in the world. The seminary boasts a long tradition of forming leaders who are both academically rigorous and grounded in practical ministry.

The successful candidate will teach both introductory and advanced courses in Lutheran theology and history, including Lutheran Confessions and Reformation History. A secondary competence is highly desirable, especially in the areas of Christian education, mission, rural ministry, African American Studies, undergraduate religion classes, etc. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate engagement in scholarship and service that address both the academy and the needs of the church.

The position also includes responsibilities in academic advising, scholarly contributions, ecclesial presentations, service at the seminary and university, and either the ongoing assessment of seminary student learning and institutional effectiveness or the ongoing directing of the seminary's grants. Teaching load is 12-14 credits annually distributed across Fall Term, January Term, and Spring Term. While the majority of the seminary curriculum is taught face-to-face, the successful candidate will be expected to teach some online, hybrid, and/or week-long intensive courses, as programmatic needs require.

 What we’re looking for:
The Pricing Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing pricing strategies, maintaining accurate pricing records, and supporting pricing analysis to ensure competitive and profitable pricing structures. This role involves close collaboration with sales, vendors, and purchasing team to ensure pricing strategies align with overall business objectives.
 
What you will be doing as a key player on our dynamic team:

<li>Maintain and update pricing databases, tools, and systems with current product pricing and discount structures.</li>
<li>Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and internal cost structures to recommend pricing adjustments and inform pricing decisions.</li>
<li>Assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.</li>
<li>Review and process pricing change requests from internal departments in a timely and accurate manner.</li>
<li>Serves as the point of contact for pricing inquiries or issues on assigned lines/products. </li>
<li>Generate pricing reports and provide insights to support strategic decisions.</li>
<li>Performs ad-hoc pricing analysis as needed.</li>
<li>Assists with maintenance of pricing tables. </li>
<li>Prepare pricing reports and present findings to management.</li>
<li>Identify opportunities for pricing optimization and recommend adjustments.</li>
<li>Maintains system pricing matrix.</li>
<li>Ensure pricing compliance across all customer contracts and sales agreements.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve pricing discrepancies and support new product launches.</li>
<li>Support audits and reviews related to pricing accuracy and adherence to policy.</li>
<li>Provide support to internal teams on pricing policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Ensures satisfaction of internal customers by providing updates and feedback as needed.</li>
<li>Supports the development and implementation of local sourcing strategies.</li>
<li>Compiles weekly and monthly purchasing reports.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>

Experience:

<li>Prior working knowledge of purchasing and/or pricing.</li>

<li>Experience in the electrical industry preferred. </li>

Technical Skills:
<ul>
<li>Proficiency using MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.</li>
<li>Advanced experience using Excel and functions such as filters, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and pivot tables.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.</li>

Education:

<li>Highschool diploma or equivalent required.</li>
