At Eager Enrichment, we have been inspiring young minds since 2008 through high-quality, hands-on after-school programs. Our Eager Engineers curriculum brings STEM concepts to life for thousands of elementary students through engaging building projects using LEGO®, K'NEX®, and other creative materials.
As our programs continue to expand, we are seeking dedicated instructors to lead after-school STEM classes. In this role, you will guide groups of up to 20 elementary students through an hour of structured, interactive learning that fosters creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
If you're passionate about both Legos, STEM, and working with children, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Pay is $40 per class.
Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Teaching: Lead engaging STEM classes for elementary students (Grades 1-5) in 3 local elementary schools in Lewis Center Ohio. You'll use Eager Enrichment's "no-fail" teaching approach, helping students understand that making mistakes is part of the learning process.</li>
<li>Classroom Management: Create a positive and well-organized learning environment for up to 20 students. Promote respectful behavior and guide students through structured, supportive lessons.</li>
<li>Communication: Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. Accurately track attendance and feel confident using apps for scheduling and parent/staff communication.</li>
</ul>
Position: 
Olentangy Schools: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Classes begin at 3:20pm.
Requirements:

<li>Availability: Must be available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons during the school year, starting in January. Classes are one hour each day with no weekend or holiday work (e.g., Spring Break, Presidents Day).</li>
<li>Schedule &amp; Commitment: Arrival at the school is required on Tuesday and Wednesday at 3:25pm; Thursday at 3:20pm.</li>
<li>Position is for three one-hour classes per week. If you're seeking more than 3 hours per week, this role may not be a fit.</li>
<li>Experience: Prior experience working with children (Grades 1-5) is preferred, but a strong desire to work with elementary-age students is essential.</li>
<li>Adaptability: Ability to adjust teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.</li>
