Position Overview
The Specialist I, Quality Assurance performs routine activities associated with manufacturing of cell and gene therapy products at the Abeona Therapeutics Inc. site in Cleveland, OH. This position supports the maintenance of the quality systems in support of a cGMP Operation for Manufacturing logistics processes relating to Abeona Manufactured Media batch record review and release from start to end of manufacturing activities, in-process sampling / testing, autoclave, and document management ensuring procedural and regulatory compliance throughout the manufacturing process. The Specialist I, Quality Assurance will report to the Associate Manager, Quality Assurance or above and will support manufacturing and quality control as the production area Quality Assurance representative.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Position is on a Day Shift with occasional weekends (as needed).</li>
<li>Process document control requests and issue-controlled forms, logbooks, notebooks, master production records, labels, and protocols.</li>
<li>Reconcile issued controlled forms, logbooks, notebooks, master production records, and protocols.</li>
<li>Coordinate and facilitate QA-related production and production-related activities.</li>

 Required Qualifications &amp; Technical Experience: 
<ul>
<li>4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.</li>
<li>10+ years of proven professional experience as a Full-Stack .NET Developer, including:</li>
<li>Designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise web applications using .NET (ASP.NET MVC 5/Web Forms) and C#.</li>
<li>Building responsive front-end UIs with Angular 15 or later, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.</li>
<li>Developing and maintaining RESTful and SOAP APIs, including secure implementation with authentication, authorization, and RBAC.</li>
<li>Performing API integrations with internal systems and third-party services to ensure seamless and secure data exchange.</li>
<li>Creating and maintaining modular Angular components using Angular CLI; converting legacy Web Forms to Angular.</li>
<li>Implementing Entity Framework or similar ORM tools for data access and persistence.</li>
</ul>
 7+ years of experience with: 
<ul>
<li>Oracle 11g/19c and/or SQL Server, including writing SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, views, packages, and triggers.</li>
<li>Optimizing database performance and ensuring data integrity and efficient retrieval.</li>
</ul>
 5+ years of experience in: 
<ul>
<li>Developing and supporting batch processes and console applications for backend automation and scheduled tasks.</li>
<li>Creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.</li>
<li>Writing and running Python scripts for automation or data processing.</li>
</ul>
 Strong experience with: 
<ul>
<li>Version control using GIT, including Git Bash commands (clone, commit, push, branch, etc.).</li>
<li>Browser testing, debugging, and cross-platform compatibility assurance.</li>
<li>Implementing secure software development practices, including scanning and fixing vulnerabilities.</li>
<li>Building cloud-ready applications with deployment experience in Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud.</li>
<li>Developing and consuming APIs in real-time, event-driven, or scheduled workflows.</li>
</ul>
 Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Design, build, and maintain full-stack .NET applications and services for internal and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Develop, consume, and document RESTful and SOAP APIs, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient integrations.</li>
<li>Convert and modernize legacy ASP.NET Web Forms applications into reusable Angular components.</li>
<li>Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data access logic for complex data transactions and workflows.</li>
<li>Build and manage backend automation using batch jobs, console apps, and Python scripts.</li>
<li>Implement and support CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for continuous integration, delivery, and testing.</li>
<li>Collaborate with QA, business analysts, and product owners to deliver high-quality software that meets business requirements.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues across the application stack.</li>
<li>Ensure secure application development through code reviews, best practices, and integration of security tools.</li>
<li>Participate in Agile methodology and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.</li>
</ul>
 The Ideal Candidate Would Have: 
<ul>
<li>Proven expertise as a Full-Stack .NET Developer, including deep experience in API development and system integration.</li>
<li>Strong command of Angular 15+, .NET (MVC/Web Forms/Core), and complex SQL scripting.</li>
<li>Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and environment automation (minimum 3 years).</li>
<li>Familiarity with cloud deployment and management (Azure preferred).</li>
<li>Exposure to microservices and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience with ETL processes and supporting data warehousing initiatives.</li>
<li>Knowledge of security scanning tools and fixing vulnerabilities throughout the SDLC.</li>
</ul>
